YES!
For those of us who support and love people in Africa, the news reports and pictures out of Kenya currently are nothing short of horrific. We in the west have, in the past, watched Africa erupt with words like "ethnic cleansing" and "tribal" and thought What Can We Do? While we might not be able to stop the machetes' blows we certainly can help heal the wounds. The most vulnerable victims of Kenya's violence - women and children - need our help now. Thousands of these innocents have lost everything, including the basic dignity of a blanket, and despite preconceptions, the nights in Kenya can be cold... especially these nights. By giving what you can, Child's Hope International, with operations located very near the large refugee camps for internally displaced people, can turn even small dollar amounts into desperately needed blankets, food, and God-willing some dignity and hope for the victims.
Please note that our commitment to the orphans and street children we support is ongoing and their need, in light of this crisis, is paramount in our efforts.
Please indicate online, or by mail if sending a check, whether you wish your donation to be directed to aid for the refugees or the orphans' and street children's needs. Your donation will reach those you choose within the week and in some cases within two days.

Childs Hope International is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian organization dedicated to funding impoverished street children and orphans in Naivasha, Kenya. The AIDS epidemic has taken the lives of many of these children's parents. Those that have living relatives often suffer abuse due to the prevalence of alcoholism in response to the tremendous pressures of daily life. Survival is a constant challenge. Without help, children face prostitution, slavery and gang life.. as well as starvation.
Childs Hope International sends your donations to a Kenyan pastor and his wife, Bishop Jeremiah and Beth Pallangyo of Naivasha, to fund all that's necessary to give the children a safe home, education and the love they need to thrive. To learn more about these children, click here.
