CHILDS HOPE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN
We invite you to share in the lives and stories of a few of the children in
Bishop Jeremiah and Beth Pallangyo's care. As you look into their faces, it
is our hope that you will desire to reach out in support of these children
through your prayers and financial contribution.
JOSEPH
Joseph lost both of his parents to AIDS and despite his condiition due to malnutrition known as rickets, was forced into labor. A town official heard of the work Bishop Jeremiah was doing to help orphans, and brought Joseph to Jeremiah requesting that he take care of him.
His dream is to become a teacher.
ANDREW

Andrew is a thriteen year old orphan. His only surviving relative, his grandmother who cannot financially support him, sought The Pallangyo's help. He was addicted to glue sniffing prior to living in the Pallangyo home and has since been successfully rehabilitated.
FRANCIS

Francis, age 12, was left to take care of his 3 younger brothers (shown below) when his parents both died of AIDS. Worried about them starving to death, his Aunt took him to live with Bishop Jeremiah and Beth, as she was unable to support them on her 50 cents- per-day income at her job crushing gravel.
Today
Francis is eating regularly and attending school because of the loving care of Beth and Jeremiah Pallangyo and the generous donations like yours to Childs Hope nternational.
MESHACK

Meshack, Francis's 7 year old brother, is living with Jeremiah and Beth's family now and attends primary school.
He does very well in school and has achieved an astounding 500 points out of 500 on his exams!
BENSON

Benson is Francis's 6 year old brother. His stomach was distended due to near starvation before he came to live at the Pallangyo's home. He now attends primary school and is doing well.
IBRAHIM

Ibrahim is Francis's, Meshack's and Benson's youngest brother. He is about four years old and attending primary school.
The children get on the bus and leave for school at 6:00 AM and return about 5:00 PM. The Pallangyo's care enabled this family to stay together.
JOHN
John was born with developmental disabilities. He is fifteen years old. He was left alone to fend for himself on the streets and was harshly treated by others before joining the Pallangyo's family.
Initially regarded incapable of being taught, John will be attending Kindergarten-level schooling as a result of the Pallangyo's care.
